Friskies innovates in media with Instagram's pinned post tool, a first for advertising. Collaborating with influencers, we promote cat adoption through donated pinned posts, supporting a noble cause.
We created a new media format: Friskies is the first brand to use Instagram's pinned post tool as a media for advertising.
And, to make things even better, we did it for a good cause: the adoption of homeless cats. We teamed up with digital influencers, who donated one of their pinned posts until the cat in it was adopted.
How?
First, we created short videos showcasing the cats available for adoption.
And, to use the pinned post as a media format, the videos stayed up and pinned until the cat on it was adopted.
These videos were then posted and pinned by our squad of digital influencers and on the brands social media pages.
The results? It was better than just numbers: all the cats found their forever homes!
